IBPS PO Interview Experience - Anik Das

Place: UBI HQ, Kolkata, Panel II
Background : Btech in EE
M1,m2,m3,m4,f1

Arrived at 12:50. Documentation start from 1:30. Interview starts from 2:30.

I was the 2nd members on the panel.

M1: (smiling) : tell me about yourself… explained.

Hobbies me cooking bola tha… 10 minutes spend kia asking about cooking.

M1: what type of cooking? Bengali type or Chinese or special….Sir, which is available in house,

F1: What is phoron(it’s a Bengali term making dal or fish curry).. explained

M1: how to make fish curry?.. explained

M1: If I don’t have tomato sauce then what is the replace of that?.. explained

M1: What item is you good at? .. Chicken momo, biriyani..

M1: Really? Can you make momo? How does it look? momo or map of India?

No sir really I can, but in this case I need little help for making the dough.

F1: J this is the main part.
M1: apko agar aise jaga par posting dia jai jahan pe khud ke hana pakana padega, to aap use handle kar payenge.. 

M1: what about your final year project?.. explained

F1: Why bank? Dnt u get job from campusing? How will u develop economic sector using banking? How bank develop economic sector? … explained ..

I told them that after probation period I will be posted as Asst. Engg. After gathering some experience I can take part in the marketing department. That’s how I will take part in the economic development.

M2 and M3 are only smiling and tell me details about work of PO, and the work pressure. They told me that, I am wrong, I will be posted as Manager

M1: ok, you can go. Don’t leave cooking

Interview last for 15 minutes, not much questions from banking, no current affairs. M4 told nothing, head down most of the time.
