Everyday I get dozens of calls and messages on my landline, Gmail, Facebook and Whatsapp. I try to reply all the messages. There are few people who stay in touch for a long time and gradually they become good friends.

I am Tarun Mehrotra from Kota Rajasthan. I have stammer and I am proud of it.
I have completed my M.Tech In IT (with special reference to banking technology) from University of Hyderabad in July 2014.I have chosen this course in 2012 as public sector banks used to come and recruit the students of this unique course. There was 100 % placement and hence all my seniors were placed in reputed banks.
But due to Supreme Court order in January 2014 which stated that No public sector banks can recruit from campuses, there was no placement for our batch. As we have studied banking (technology driven) related subjects so my interest developed towards banking sector. Some of my classmates opted for IT companies but I decided to enter banking industry.
I started preparation and joined coaching class for 2 months as IBPS PO 2014 was approaching. I gave exam and came back to my hometown in December.
I failed in following :
- IBPS PO-written not qualified by 2 marks. I got 80 and cut off for general category was 82.
- IBPS clerk-written cleared but not able to clear final cut off.
- IBPS IT officer-written not qualified.
- SBI associates Po-written not qualified
- Syndicate bank manipal,United insurance (AO & assistant) –written not qualified.
- New India assurance assistant-written qualified but not in final list
- Rajasthan cooperative bank:written not qualified by 5 marks
After all these I finally got 2 offers:
- State bank of Bikaner and Jaipur –final selection in clerical cadre
- Bank of Baroda Manipal-Selected after clearing GD and interview
I am working on my speech from last 1 year and it has really
helped me a lot in cracking the gd and interviews.
I am in touch with Ramandeep sir from past 1 year; he has been a friend, guide and a teacher. His predictions are accurate and we should thank him for all his help (starting from posting superb banking materials to motivating us in every situation)
