Hi all,
I am a reader of Bankexamstoday since almost 2 years now when it was newly started. I am from Nawanshahr, Punjab. I have attached screenshot of my score card of SBI PO 2015. I have been giving SBI PO exam since 2013. This was my 3rd attempt. First time I couldn't qualify Tier 1 of the exam in 2013. In 2014 I reached interview stage but couldn't find my name in merit list. Finally I am successful in my 3rd attempt in 2015.
The exam remains mostly simple as what I have seen during my preparation. I am a computer engineer(2011 graduate) from a college that is supposed to be good and is good. The cutoffs have remained mostly the same in the 3 yrs that I gave the exam. The only thing is cutoff goes high. I consider SBI PO questions to be simpler than IBPS PO questions. I also gave IBPS PO thrice. I am still in waiting list of the last IBPS PO that I gave who's list will come out next year in 2016. I have already worked in a top bank (given by IBPS) as a clerk for 9 months but I quit that to prepare for an officer level exam. I told this thing in my interview and didn't faced any grilling about it. The interviewers were OK about that. It was 4 months since I had quit my bank clerk job.
Regarding preparation I will say increase your speed with accuracy. Questions are not that tough. if you have enough practice you can easily solve the questions. And no reason that you solve 140, 150 questions out of 200 in the exam. A attempt of 120-125 is more than enough out of which 100 questions have to be right no matter what. I had an attempt of around 116 in Tier 2 of SBI PO 2015.
The material on BankExamsToday website is good enough to crack the exams. Additionally you can consider some good books too. Wish you all the best guys and girls.
