LIC AAO exam is getting closer, today I have decided to make an exam strategy that will help you increase your score within a week.
Computer Knowledge
You might be thinking why I started with Computer Knowledge section. It's really easy to score good marks in this section because syllabus of this section is limited. After 70-80 pages of notes and going through all 1250 questions provided in the following links, you will be able to get at least 25-26 answer correct out of 30.
You can cover the Computer Knowledge section within 2 days. Must read my Computer Awareness ebook, it covers all the basics as well notes in easy language.
General Awareness
If you are reading Current affairs and static GK topics from GK Digest Android app from last 3 months then you can easily 24-25 answers correct out of 30.
General Awareness of LIC AAO is somewhat different from IBPS PO. You will find questions from Insurance topics.

Quantitative Aptitude
Quantitative Aptitude is an important part of all the recruitment exams. In LIC AAO exam, you will fetch 3 marks for question in Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning section.
- Data Interpretation (5-10 questions)
- Series (0-5 questions)
- Arithmetic (5-10)
- Number system and Simplifications (0-5 questions)
- Probability and Permutations & Combinations (0-5 questions)
Time and Work, Time and Distance, Percentages, Ratio and proportions, Algebra, Percentages are part of Arithmetic.

Reasoning Ability
Reasoning is the toughest section of the exam. It is difficult to score good marks in this exam. First tip complete to complete this section on time is to skip a Puzzle.
- Puzzle (5 questions set)
- Seating arrangement (5 questions set)
- Series (0-5 marks)
- Machine input output (0-5 marks)
- Syllogism (0-5 marks)
- Inequalities (0-5 marks)
- Problems based on ages (0-2 marks)
- Direction sense test (0-2 marks)

English language
No marks are allotted for this section but you need to crack the sectional cutoff. If English is not your weakest section then you shouldn't worry about it but if you failed in last few exams due to English section, then it's time to improve your English.
