SBI PO Exam Analysis (Slot 1): 6 May 2017

Hi Readers!!
The third-day SBI PO Prelims Exam is going on 6th May 2017 and the first slot of 9 am is over. As usual, we here have collected as much information, from our sources, as we could and here we present you the complete Exam analysis of Slot 1. Overall the exam had moderate to difficult questions. Unlike the exams held on 29th and 30th April, English Section did not come with a surprise. The ideal attempt for this slot should be 60-70

English Section 

English section had easy to moderate questions, Some student faced some difficulty in RC. The cloze test and sentence correct were not difficult but the students with the lack of vocabulary and rules of sentence correct find it bit tough. Overall, this section was a marks-scoring section.
RC was based on the conditions of refugees in Lebanon and Syria, with 2 Qs – Inference based & 4-5 Qs – Synonyms and Antonyms.

Reasoning Section 

Again, the section was biased and the weightage of questions were inclined towards puzzles and seating arrangements. 23 questions were asked from puzzles. Miscellaneous questions were based on blood relation and coding decoding. This section has difficult to moderate questions.

Quantitative Aptitude Section

The 2 DI Sets consumed some time of the students. Number series wasn't tough. Quadratic Equation and approximations questions were quite tricky and 10 miscellaneous questions were moderate to difficult.
