- The data for the report of the index was collected by Gallup’s World view World Poll by asking 3 questions to the people. The questions were, have they helped any stranger, given any money support, and have they volunteered for a good cause last year.
- As per the survey for India, 61% of Indian have helped strangers, 36% of Indians granted money to support and 34% of Indians volunteered for a good cause.
