Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has overhauled rules for extending loans to directors of other banks and relatives of directors. As per the amendments, the central bank has allowed banks to extend personal loans up to Rs. 5 crores to directors of other banks and directors' relatives other than spouses without board approval. The earlier limit for such loans was Rs. 25 lakh.

Limitation of documents
The object of the Law of Limitation is to prescribe the period within which rights under the documents can be enforced in the Court of Law. It also relieves a person from the constant and continuous threat of being dragged to a court of law once the period of limitation is over. The period of limitation for filing a suit for the recovery of money in case of certain common documents is as under:

A nonperforming asset (NPA) is a loan or an advance where;
