Local Bank Officer (LBO) Scale I

A fulltime/regular Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a University/Institution recognized by Government of India or its Regulatory bodies.

The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/ she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

Service Indemnity Bond

The selected candidates will be required to execute a Service Indemnity Bond undertaking to serve the Bank for a minimum period of 3 years or to pay the Bank a sum of Rs.2,00,000.00 (Rs. Two Lakh Only) plus applicable taxes as per Government rules in case he / she leaves the Bank before completion of 3 years of active service.

Selection Procedure

The selection process may comprise of Online Examination / Group Discussion (if conducted)/Screening of applications and / or Personal Interview depending on the numbers of applicants/eligible candidates. The Bank reserves the absolute right to decide as to whether to use all or any of these modes for selection for the notified posts.

  • There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
  • Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online examination and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be shortlistedfor interview. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the Online examination will not be shared with thecandidates shortlisted for interview.
  • Decision of Bank in shortlisting and calling number of candidates for Personal Interview shall be final.
  • For interview the candidates will be called in the ratio of 1:3 as against the number of vacancies. The weightage (ratio) of Online Exam and Interview will be in the ratio of 80:20 respectively.
Marks obtained in the online examination will be considered for shortlisting for interview and also for final merit listing.
